Presented by NFCC and in Partnership with the Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA Rock 4 A Reason has returned for the 2nd annual community concert. On Saturday, February 16th, we are calling our teens to step up and step out and come join us as we “rock the night” away.

NFCC Have A Heart Campaign Has Officially Launched

NFCC has officially launched the “Have A Heart for NFCC” campaign. With several public and private parties and support from local businesses and restaurants, we are well underway to achieve the goal of $200,000.

The purpose of this month long event is to secure much needed funds to support our programs while increasing the awareness of the needs of our families. We need the help of the entire community to assist our neighbors in need. “When I starting volunteering a couple of years ago, I had no idea how NFCC would change my life. Today, NFCC continues to bless me so much more than I could ever give. Choose to make a difference and see how it will change your life,” said Mary Good, Event Co-Chair.

North Fulton Cities Are Proclamating to “Have A Heart for NFCC”

On January 23, 2012, Milton City Council will announce their support of the “Have A Heart for NFCC” campaign. Like the Alpharetta City Council, The City of Milton is partnering with NFCC and other local cities to promote and bring awareness to the neeeds of our neighbor.

Our goal is to raise $200,000. To achieve this ambitious goal, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Here are some suggestions about how YOU can Have a Heart for NFCC during February.

Host a party in your home, invite your friends, and provide insight about the financial needs of NFCC.
Ask your church or synagogue to promote this campaign during the month of February.
Donate a percentage of your business proceeds on February 14th or 29th to NFCC.
Post an announcement in your February business, personal or community newsletter that February is Have a Heart for NFCC month and ask people to join you in donating or match your donation.
Announce the campaign on your social media outlets throughout the month.
Challenge a business competitor, bordering neighborhood, church or organization to see who can raise the most money for NFCC in February.
DONATE $20 or more to NFCC to celebrate someone you love at www.heartfornfcc.org. Your donation can help us fill up OUR heart!

Alpharetta City Council Proclaim February Have a Heart for NFCC Month

Alpharetta City Council started off the New Year with a proclamation to support NFCC’s Have a Heart Campaign. Alpharetta is just one of the cities that will help raise awareness and much needed funding for North Fulton Community Charities. After newly elected mayor, David Belle Isle, read the proclamation, Barbara Duffy, Executive Director for NFCC, thanked the Mayor and City Council and explained that the efforts of this campaign will help our neighbors in need.

NFCC financial goal during this month long campaign is to raise $200,000 in support of programs and basic needs of our families. To make a difference and promote awareness, your help is needed. There are many ways you can help:

Host a party at your home, in your neighborhood or within your club.
Donating $20.00 in honor of your loved one during February
Attend community events
Do you own a business? You can “Change Your Heart,” and collect change during the month of February
